Project "Teaching in the Trivium"

(The current text will be edited)
I think to start a project "Teaching in the Trivium".

Trivium is a system for education divided in three subsystems:
- Grammar/knowledge;
- Logic/reason;
- Rethorics[FIXME]/wisdom;

Any kind of subjects can be studied this way. I will start with Bulgarian language. According to me this is the base of most of the other subjects, because through the language you earn everything. Nobody can learn foreign language well if he doesn't know well it's own language. For Bulgarians this is the Bulgarian language. In some sense mathematics is kind of foreign language too. Nobody can make great achievement if he doesn't have good language knowledge.

Grammar
This is the alphabet in wide sense. It is composite of all letters and digits of the language, words, word groups, idioms and the elementary rules of building simple sentences.

Logics
This is the way of thinking. Finding and presenting the relationships between the different elements of grammar. Building logical statements. Logics is the connection between mathematics and the language.

Rhetorics
Practical application of knowledge and reason - wisdom. In case of Bulgarian language, this is writing in right syntax, analysis and writing different kinds of texts - lyrics, poems, stories, articles - skills for pubic speech, dialogue and debate.

There is not always a strict border between the three ways - knowledge, reason and wisdom always go together - each cooperates with others.

Proverbs 2:6
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 1:5-6
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

Proverbs 18:15
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.
